Jan Hoy – Sculptures

“Unlock” and “Interlock” are sister sculptures. They are based on a square that never stops curving until it finishes with another square. This gives them a unique sense of grounded and purpose.  As it moves it maintains a 7.5″ height on each side so that the square is maintaining its integrity while curving. These pieces are complete unto themselves but are also models for a pair of large aluminum public sculptures.  Jan Hoy
