Tracy has been working as a professional sculptor and educator for the past thirty years. His stone sculptures are mostly narrative representations of humans and animals. They are meant to illustrate some of the universal themes of the human condition: romance, mythology, and spirituality. Tracy is a member of the NorthWest Stone Sculptors Association, and has been an instructor at many of their symposia. He has been active in local arts and environmental groups on Fidalgo, Guemes, and San Juan Island, has curated sculpture exhibits in La Conner, and Mount Vernon, worked on task forces for La Conner and Anacortes Arts Commissions, and is now a member of the La Conner Art Commission.
